Our client, located in the University Park area of Dallas is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for a full time temp to hire opportunity!
We are looking for candidates who enjoy being part of a team, taking initiative, making a difference in someone's life, compassionate, and most of all committed to providing world class customer service. They take an active role in maintaining and developing existing and new client relationships, including following up to ensure complete satisfaction. And it doesn't stop there: they assist with many other administrative duties and fun, creative projects. Hours: Available to work any day of the week between 9am-6:30pm
Pay: $13 per hour (small increase when taken perm)
Provides detailed information regarding products to educate customers.
Gathers name, address and delivery date, collects payment information and processes order.
Follows detailed procedures regarding add-on items, delivery methods and dates.
Enters special requests for flowers and plants into POS system.
Maintains confidential customer information.
Monitors orders and confirms details on a constant basis to ensure customer selection is processed correctly.
Conducts administrative activities, including; filing, billing, mailing, telephone campaigns, etc.
Guest service mentality; is sociable and friendly and has a genuine desire to serve the customer.
Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
Self-starter who is energetic and flexible.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results.
Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others.
Excellent computer skills including MS Word and Excel.
Minimum two years of retail customer service and telephone experience.
