Job Title:Assistant Vice PresidentJob Description: Blackstone Credit is seeking talent to assist in the management of new asset backed securitization structures for various clients, with a focus on our Insurance clients. We are looking for a highly motivated, independent, detail-oriented individual who wants to broaden their knowledge and challenge themselves in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment. AVP level; strong technical background, client facing and will liaise closely with deal teams.Responsibilities:Working on the full life-cycle of Structured Product transactionsAnalyzing collateral data and perform calculations to confirm the accuracy of information reported by asset servicers. Reviewing transaction activity for propriety and adherence to established controls and procedures.Using stratifications and other reporting tools to effectively convey pool characteristics, concentrations, distributions, and risks. Proactively determine missing, incomplete, and inaccurate informationCollaborating with Investment team to discuss liquidity needsAssisting with accounting/financial reporting research and validationData Verification of Portfolios Underlying Assets, Analytics and cashflow modelling for various prepayment and default scenariosVerification of collateral balances and monitoring of performance ratios of the collateralAssisting in monthly tie-outs/quarterly waterfall reconciliationsCalculating and verifying cash flow waterfalls and payment amountsResearching and resolving discrepancies uncovered during our verificationReviewing controlling legal documents related to contractual dutiesSupporting clients by maintaining and providing prompt and accurate servicer to external clients and internal departmentsPerforming adhoc requests from portfolio managers and trading desk, providing guidance as needIdentifying process gaps, develop solutions, and consistently look to drive efficiency improvementsQualifications:Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
