The HRIS Administrator will act as the system administrator for the Ceridian Dayforce System while maintaining the HRIS applications and modules. This role will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the entire function of the Ceridian Dayforce product. The HRIS Administrator partners with the HR management team to analyze workflow process design, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Administrator leads project plans, ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems approach; and, can work effectively with all levels of staff to establish technology priorities and conduct long-term planning.
This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for the HR Department and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Administrator supports HRMS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as necessary.
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the HRIS, which may include installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommends and implements solutions, including applying change management experience to facilitate progression to high levels of quality.
Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
Constructs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
Compiles or assists with the acquisition of complex data reports, summaries, and logs for senior executives and HR staff.
Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
Serves as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
Participates in user group meetings/conferences.
Performs other duties as required.

Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
At least five years of related experience required with at least one year in a lead HRIS position preferred.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) highly preferred.
