We have an opening for a **Project Manager: Electrical Engineering** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in **Gilbert AZ or** **Dulles, VA** .
**In this role you will:**
+ Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
+ Review status of projects and budgets across multiple programs for Electrical Ground and Support Equipment (EGSE)
+ Utilize schedule data to determine future cost expenditures
+ Assist with monitoring current and future labor resource requirements
+ Utilize Cobra reports to assess project issues and develop financial status reports.
+ Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
+ Manage Capital budgets and assess current/future status reports
+ Assist with proposal development via generation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for engineering labor and material
**Daily Responsibilities Include:**
+ Serve as a liaison within the Electrical Ground and Support Equipment (EGSE) and other internal and external organizations such as Global Supply Chain (GSC) and suppliers
+ Provide oversight for Electrical Engineering financial control and maintenance of budgets including EVMS indices and Variance reporting, and Baseline Change Request
+ Prepare status reports on the health of projects. Identify risks and opportunities as well as Return to Green plans. Retire Risks
+ Support EGSE Manager in critical weekly status reviews
+ Coordinate supplier deliverables
**To be successful you should have:**
+ Experience managing cost accounts utilizing Earned Value (EVMS) guidelines
+ Cost Management or Project Management experience in an engineering and/or manufacturing environment such as harness, electrical power, command and data handling, test engineering, ground support design & development, and/or RF engineering
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 15+ year of experience with a Bachelor's degree (13+ years with a Masters.) Experience can be considered in lieu of degree
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ EVMS Certification / Training

Salary Range: $114,600.00 - $172,000.00
