Process Engineer

Our client specializes in the design and manufacturing of apparel brand identity systems. They are currently seeking a Process Engineer for printed products and textiles.

The responsibilities include the following:
-Developing and executing work plans associated with commercialization, standardization and ongoing production of products
-Performing and documenting process, equipment, material and product testing
-Analyzing and evaluating test results to ensure objectives are accomplished and/or customer requirements are fulfilled
-Identifying and implementing process improvement including benchmarking, evaluation, process redesign, and integration into production operations

-Maintaining company knowledge database of manufacturing technologies related to production of products
-Establishing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures

-Reviewing and analyzing performance against standards
-Identifying and reporting on issues impacting performance, and assists in correcting issues
-Defining, performing and analyzing process control activities, including process audits, process inspection and control point monitoring
-Developing and implementing corrective action plans due to any manufacturing defects, customer returns and other customer issues

-Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering
-Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Formal education and/or extensive practical training in printing or textiles highly recommended
-Technical experience in the following areas recommended: textiles, embroidery, printing, coating, adhesives, film, packaging, robotics, automation
-Lean Six Sigma and SOP skills a must
-Prior hands-on project management experience required

-Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
-Must become proficient with company specific software programs within three months
-Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering
-Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
-Formal education and/or extensive practical training in printing or textiles highly recommended
-Technical experience in the following areas recommended: textiles, embroidery, printing, coating, adhesives, film, packaging, robotics, automation
