Responsibilities

This is a Temp position which could convert to a full time position

The Patient Access Representative (PAR) is responsible for scheduling of procedures and outpatient studies;  customer service

and clerical support.

The PAR  must ensure contact with patients, families, the community, vendors, coworkers and physicians is carried out in a friendly,

courteous, helpful and considerate manner. The PAR is also expected to complete other responsibilities in an

accurate and timely manner as needed or assigned.



Qualifications

Education Requirements

*High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience and Skills

  • Required Skills: Excellent communications skills; excellent interpersonal skills and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong clerical skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word and computer navigation skills
  • Ability to type proficiently and utilize multi-line telephone systems
  • Ability to multi-task, work under stress, and work independently
