This community-centered hospital is searching for a strong, experienced Nursing Director of Emergency Services to join their team in a beautiful city in Montana.

This 25+ bed critical access facility is excited to fill a Director of Emergency Services position. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care. The Emergency Department Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer and will be responsible for overseeing both the operational and clinical aspects of the Emergency Department. This role will be supported by a seasoned Nursing Emergency Manager and a dedicated team of experienced Registered Nurses. Additionally, the Director will manage Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and foster collaborative relationships with Emergency Physicians to ensure the highest standards of care and seamless department operations.

The dynamic energy of this 25-bed critical access facility is palpable, with the Emergency Department handling approximately 30-35 patient cases daily. As the cornerstone of the community's healthcare services, this hospital offers a fast-paced yet supportive environment where compassionate care meets advanced medical capabilities. The ER Nurse Director will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining the department's workflow and operations. By implementing best practices, improving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative culture, the Director will enhance both patient care and staff satisfaction. With a focus on continuous improvement, the ER Nurse Director will ensure that the Emergency Department functions seamlessly, providing timely, high-quality care to every patient who walks through its doors.

The Nurse Director of Emergency Services will oversee the department's quality performance and risk management programs. The Director will develop clear performance expectations and resolve performance problems. In addition to these aspects, the ED Nurse Director will also help develop and maintain the departmental budget, as well as regulatory compliance. As the Emergency Services Director, there is a 24-hour responsibility to assess, plan, and implement Nursing Care to all types of patients, ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients within the Emergency Department.
