Location: Miami, FL (33142)

Pay Rate:  $16.00 

1st shift 700am – 330pm  be Flexible + some night & some weekends req’d

Contract to Perm after 3months

Near Miami Airport

Company Summary

An Aircraft Maintenance Company established in the 1940's with a concentration in repair, overhaul and support. For over 70yrs the Company's services include: component repair and overhaul, ground support test equipment, and airline service programs. The Company's business concentration includes support programs for regional and longer haul airlines, comprising narrow and wide body fleets, and also manufactures and distributes a full line of ground support test equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving Inspection / Shipping

  • Sign for incoming packages
  • Write up incoming units for repair work
  • Perform quality inspection on incoming units
  • Scan all receiving documents
  • Identify proper packaging
  • Verify part number and serial number
  • Prepare shipments for pickup and deliveries
  • Check for correct labeling and proper packaging
  • Make records of all shipments

Expeditor / Inventory

  • Assists on daily inventory
  • Manages consignment Inventory
  • Runs Picking Report to assist other team members
  • Assists mechanics at the windows
  • Handing out parts and entering "consuming" them to the (WO#) Work Order Number in the inventory Tracking System -PC
  • Processing Yellow Tags
  • Receives back to inventory the parts return from the shops
  • Receives the Yellow Tags into inventory
  • Overall organization of the department
  • Relocating parts
  • Printing new labels
  • Ordering Supplies
  • Assists other team members with their tasks

Required Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic PC knowledge
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking and writing in the English language
  • Enthusiastic and team player is a must
  • Lifting to 25 pounds
  • Pushing and pulling objects or cart in general
  • Available to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends

Preferred Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:

    • Previous Receiving, Stockroom Inventory & Shipping, experience is A Plus
    • Previous Receiving Inspection experience is A Bigger Plus
    • Previous Expeditor experience is A Bigger Plus
    • Highly desired experience with Quantum Software is a Plus
    • Preferred - any experience with any (ERP) Enterprise Resource Planning Software like; SAP, Peoplesoft, Microsoft Dynamics
    • Preferred not required - previous Aviation Warehouse, or (MRO) or Maintenance Repair shop environment experience
