Position Description The Software Engineer will contribute to the development of specific software products within project schedule, budget, and scope constraints. They will be responsible for coding, implementation, and testing of new features for production code. The Software Engineer will work in an Agile team environment in collaboration with senior software development team members. The Software Engineer will ensure that project deliverables are developed, documented, and tested in compliance with established company design control and regulatory processes. Candidates should demonstrate a strong team orientation with high emotional intelligence and solid people skills.

Basic Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field * Proficiency in Java programming language * 1+ year of experience in a software development role * Experience with object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) principles * Experience with web development and associated frameworks Preferred Qualifications * Experience developing with Java 7 or greater and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) * Experience with development and test tools including Eclipse and JUnit * Experience with Spring, Hibernate, web services (REST preferred), JavaScript, and GWT or other framework * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Knowledge of medical devices and/or biotech industry bioMérieux is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action Employer.
