The Delivery Person under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager is responsible for delivering food orders.
- Delivers food orders on time and to correct address.
- Handles both cash and credit payment methods.
- Stocks take-out / delivery supplies area.
- Prepares take-out / delivery garnishment and food items.
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of take-out / delivery station(s)
- Communicates and assists packer to set up and break down order as received.
- Removes dirty container carefully to dishwashing area.
- Leaves restaurant in a clean condition prior to end of shift.
- Assists customers with inquiries or as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge:Must have own bike, helmet, safety lights for night deliveries, and some sort of bag or rack to deliver multiple orders as required. Must know and follow all road laws. Must comply with all applicable state and local laws.
Education/Experience:Delivery experience is preferred.

Physical Demands: Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities including, but not limited to, standing for long periods of time, climbing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping andlifting up to 55 lbs. Must be able to ride a bicycle for extended periods of time in all weather conditions. May be required to carry and lift cookware or supplies. May be required to usecleaning compounds and cleaning products. Exposure to hot and/or cold temperatures required (stove, freezer, etc.) and outdoor conditions including rain, snow, extreme cold and/or heat,noise, and air pollutants.
Food Knowledge, Preparation, Production and Safety: Ability to prepare food for consumption with background knowledge of proper techniques and equipment to be used.Knowledge of industry standards on beverage and food storage and handling techniques is highly desirable. Where applicable, holds a state and/or local food handlers card.
Problem Solving and Conflict Management: Must exercise sound judgment and possessgood problem solving skills. Must have the ability to recognize and resolve problems in anappropriate manner. Must have basic math skills.
Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.Must be able to work overtime as required.
