Job Description

Customer Service Representative-Edison, NJ
 
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the coordination of the work flow in the Customer Service Department as it relates to: Quotations, Order Entry, Shipping documents (International and Domestic), Return Material Authorizations, phone inquiries, invoicing, retrieval of customer feedback, and filing of completed orders.
 
Successful candidate will have experience in a customer service related environment, preferably in manufacturing, with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of ERP systems.  Candidate will have a pleasant phone presence and be willing to directly communicate with customers by phone or email in response or as the first one to make contact. Candidate must be detail oriented, efficient, and follow directions accurately either received by written or oral form.  Candidate must be comfortable in conflict related circumstances, assuring the customer is adequately assisted within the policies and procedures.
 
Responsibilities:
• Prepare Quotations
• Order Write Up, Order Entry, Order Processing of Parts and Accessories
• Preparation of Order Acknowledgments
• Preparation of Export Documents
• Preparation of Shipping Labels-Cartons
• Preparation of Shipping Labels-Courier
• Entry of Orders in Shipping Report
• Answer Phones as required
• Respond to Customer Inquiries via email or phone
• Follow up on Order Status or Pre-payments
 
Experience:
• Bilingual in Spanish, required
• Proven experience in a Customer Service environment
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Experience with SAP or an ERP system a plus
