Tax Manager AND Senior Tax Manager Remote

We specialize in public accounting firms, and these firms are diverse and fast-growing CPA and Management Advisory firms based in this area, but serving nationally and internationally. Some are growing at twice the industry average, with all of their growth being organic, so they don’t have too many partners holding back the advancement of people in the Firm. Partnership opportunities are available. They are looking for a Tax Manager to join their Leadership team to help implement vision and growth.

The ideal candidate will oversee all tax-related decisions and activities in the organization. You will help them stay tax-compliant and up to date on new tax laws.

CPA License or EA license current and in good standing
• Five to Seven or more years of related experience

High Networth experience - Trust and Estates a plus
• Demonstrate ability to plan and organize projects

TAX MANAGER

We are looking for 3 Tax Managers. 1 Local two remote ( 100 to $150k) And a Sr Tax Manager up to $180k For 3 top local CPA firms. These are challenging and rewarding positions that report directly to the Managing Partner or Director level and have varied duties and assignments. Responsibilities include:
• Manage entire tax return engagement

Communicate with clients and governments
Organize and plan large projects
Manage a team of accountants. Duties include:

- Review staff and senior work

- Motivate and mentor team

- Staff scheduling, evaluations, and training

Assist partners with client issues, firm growth, etc.
Manage and develop client relationships
Research complex tax issues as needed
Seek on-going professional development
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor degree in Accounting

CPA or EA
4+ years of tax compliance experience in public accounting with progressively more medium to complex returns
