Sr VP of Global Sales

Our Client is a recognized leader in optics and photonics solutions and they are seeking seeking a Senior VP of Global Sales. The position is located in sunny Orlando FL.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, lead, and drive the entire sales team to meet or exceed all sales and revenue goals, and other expectations established by executive leadership including the Board of Directors
  • Accurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams utilizing Salesforce CRM
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Balance overall sales requirements across product groups and locations
  • Deliver expectations and manage individual and team performance
  • Interview, hire, manage, evaluate, and coach sales talent
  • Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts with sales personnel
  • Passionately develop and coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology using Salesforce CRM
  • Provide sales and metrics reporting as directed by executive leadership through Salesforce CRM.
  • Responsible for development, communication, and administration of department goals, strategies, policies, and processes
  • Promote positive relations with manufacturing and engineering teams. Develop and maintain interactions with core stakeholders such as operations, engineering finance, HR, QA, etc.
  • Positively represent the company at various business meetings and trade shows
  • Collaborate with National Sales Director to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  • Develops budget for departments and maintains expense control.
  • Schedule and host regular, structured goal setting and goal review meetings with personnel

Education and Experience

  • B.S. or M.S. in a Business or Technical field from an accredited institution and seven (7) plus years sales management or senior-level sales experience
  • Three (3) or more years of experience managing sales personnel including sales managers
  • Ability to manage remote sales;
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documents and discuss with clients;
  • Proficient at SalesForce or other CRM systems;
  • OK with extensive (70%) national travel.
