Job Description

Floating Lease Administrator

Leading property management company currently seeking an experienced Floating Lease Administrator to join our growing team in Northern/Central New Jersey

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and review leases and addendums with new and existing residents ensuring accuracy in dates and billing.
  • Enter lease information into resident accounting system.
  • Regularly monitor lease expiration details and process lease renewal documents working with the Property Manager to determine appropriate rent increases.
  • Ensure security deposits have been set up and received.
  • Maintain files (physical and electronic) for all documents.
  • Assist with resident ledger reconciliations.
  • Process rent payments
  • Touring prospective residents through community to assist in meeting property’s leasing goals
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Solid computer skills should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and property management computer software. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in reading, interpreting and summarizing leases and contracts.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter, but can function effectively as part of a team.
  • Well organized and a strong ability to pay attention to detail.
