KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Data Quality Analyst to join our Data Strategy & Operations organization.

Responsibilities:

+ Conform to and promote the data quality methodology of repeatable processes, to investigate and resolving data quality exceptions

+ Recommend/ prioritize remediation and assist with root cause analysis to identify quality issues to functions and Business Support Services groups

+ Develop and maintain a common Data Quality (DQ) infrastructure (exception and remediation tracking and workflow); Maintain DQ Standards related to the data quality methodology

+ Participate in project management execution activities and development of artifacts such as the data collection plan, documenting data lineage, QA user story development, logging and assigning QA defects, etc.

+ Liaise with business data stewards to develop quality rules and controls through profiling; participate in the identification and remediation of data quality issues in the functions

+ Execute data profiling, development of rule recommendations, coding and testing of DQ rules & scorecards for unit, QA and UAT Testing

Qualifications:

+ Minimum three years of recent experience working with DQ tools and reporting toolsets, including rule development, testing, issue tracking, reporting and DQ dashboard design; experience with Informatica data quality tools (IDQ and BDQ) and Microsoft Power BI visualizations required; experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Hive Structures, Jira preferred; Collibra experience is a plus

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience

+ Familiarity with data stewards, data quality, data dictionaries and data lineage tools such as Collibra or Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog preferred

+ Self-starter with the ability to seek out new problems and develop solutions, while having strong sense of ownership

+ Ability to conduct root cause analysis and communicate recommendation to resolve; switch quickly between details and the big picture

+ Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
