Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist

The Human Resources Labor Relations Generalist will manage the day-to-day Labor Relations activities. Responsibilities include but not limited to:


•Employee grievance processing

•Employee investigations

•Manage UAP-Hourly Attendance Program

•Apply policies, rules and issue corrective action up-to and including termination of employment Administering Labor contracts

•Provide Labor Relations training, as well as providing advice and counsel on policies, procedures and contract interpretation

•Build and maintain effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters

•Serve as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders

•Lead all key HR processes including staffing, leadership development, compensation, talent development, performance management, and employee relations

•Lead identification, selection and retention of world-class talent

•Monitor performance management programs and providing support and guidance to managers and employees on performance issues and assessment tools

5 Years of experience

•Bachelor's degree


•Experience in Human Resources and/or Labor Relations

•Strong oral and written communication skills

•Highly proficient in Microsoft Office

•Effectively engaging with other HR team members to accomplish objectives

•The candidate must be willing and able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and occasional holidays.



Preferred Requirements:


•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field

•Advanced degree

•Experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment

•Experience working with collective bargaining agreements, conducting investigations and managing conflict

•Knowledge of G-Suite applications
