Product Responsibilities Coordinate through Production Control and Planning and with key production positions to ensuring proper construction of all products as specified by Engineer Manager with approved drawings and bill of materials as designed.
Develop plan along with Floor Quality Tech for first piece build and inspection on all projects/orders for consistent product quality and performance for multi-location production.
Assist Engineering Manager through support
CAD drawings for projects, cut sheets as requested by sales team Ability to design parts for production on Laguna horizontal CNC, Merrimac CNC turret and other sheet metal machines and ensure programming is as designed and approved by Engineering Manager.
Provide assistance in training production associates for consistent product builds thru multi-location production (travel will be required at times).
Coordinate and execute plan from Engineering Manager for product safety certifications thru approval labs from conception to listing label approval (travel will be required at times).
Coordinate Plant and Operations projects such as layout changes, machinery search and approvals for replacement/new machinery.
Safety Coordinator
Visit job sites to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment, and materials. Evaluate, assess and alter safety procedures and policies for the benefit of employees and clients.
Research and implement new materials handling processes.
Analyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available facts.
Prepare and conduct safety training sessions for employees and vendors.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.).
Research environmental regulations and policies and institute changes to ensure compliance.
Track incident metrics and apply findings.
Oversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permits.
Lead injury and incident inquiries and evaluations.
Plant Maintenance coordinator
Identify and execute maintenance for machine and building resources as needed.
Develop daily, weekly, periodic maintenance plans for all machinery at all company locations.
Identify daily maintenance required by operators and maintain records showing proper steps were taken by machine/operation.
Identify key machinery/operations that require outside contractor attention for preventative maintenance and schedule as needed.
Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on contracts, pricing, and approved contractors for PMP.
