WAREHOUSE MANAGER - Columbia, SC Dynamic company seeks Warehouse Manager to embark on a successful career in our Columbia, SC branch. Ram Tool has a vast product line with 90,000+ unique items to sell and over 90% of deliveries made within 24 hours.Reporting directly to the Branch Operations Manager, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all functions of warehousing. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Management of warehouse personnel (1-6 team members, depending on branch)
  • Cycle Counting to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Project Lead for multi-functions within the warehouse setting
  • Dispatch Assistance- loading and unloading of vehicles, dispatching of drivers (3-15 team members)
  • Warehouse Assistance- pulling and staging orders
  • Responsible for following all safety rules and regulations including the following:
      • Safety Meetings and reporting
      • Forklift Inspection and reports
      • Maintain a clean and safe environment within a warehouse setting
  • Support of Operations Manager - multi-task alongside these individuals as well as comply with all rules and regulations in respect to the Management requirements
  • Perform other duties to support inventory management/ procurement efforts as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • College Degree or some years of college preferred
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse management experience
  • Ability to manage a small team of people
  • Knowledge of computer fundamentals including Microsoft Office and inventory management software, spreadsheets, design plans/layouts
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Must pass drug screen and background check
  • Forklift certified/ certifiable
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. and assisted safe lifting of larger items
  • Might be required to be on feet for a long period of time
