HOA General Manager

Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Snowmass Village, CO Full Time

As a member of the Leadership Committee, the HOA General Manager is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership. This position reports to the hotel General Manager.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • 6 years or more of progressive hotel Rooms experience (typically with Hyatt)
  • With opening hotels, previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • At least 5 years experience in a senior role in a hotel rooms area
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Maintain communications with Corporate Staff
  • Work with accounting to generate HOA budgets
  • Monitor expenses in relation to budget. Including Capital projects
  • Ensure HOA statements go out at correct time
  • Send out owner past due notices at 30, 60, and 90 days
  • Enforce collection procedures as outlined by the specific HOA
  • Code and file HOA receipts
  • Owner billing and answer questions: HOA and DR (as needed)
  • Review HOA owner statements prior to being sent to owners

  • Housekeeping
    • Monitor Unifocus housekeeping scores (min 85%) and guest satisfaction. Support and co-ordinate changes with operations as needed
    • Support operations managers in regards to providing training to housekeeping associates
  • Front Desk/Guest Satisfaction
    • Respond to Unifocus comment cards
    • Monitor Unifocus guest service scores (goal is 90%) and guest satisfaction
    • Support operations managers in achieving Unifocus goals
    • Input owner reservations
  • Maintenance
    • Support operations managers in regards to maintenance of building and managed units
    • Ensure maintenance associates receive training as needed and this is documented
    • Unifocus: maintenance scores 85% or higher
  • Homeowners Association
    • Financial
    • Capital Reserve Projects (CR): Manage and monitor expenses
    • Send out notices of board meeting along with relevant documents for each meeting
Prior HOA experience preferred
Must be able to work weekends as needed

The starting salary for this position is %2490,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
