Title: Administrative Assistant Location: Midtown (NYC) Pay Rate: $20-22/hr Shift: 10am-6pm (1-hour lunch) Duration: Long-Term Our client is a dynamic long established Commercial Real Estate owner/management firm conveniently located near all NYC transportation is seeking to fill a full-time Administrative Assistant position. They offer a wide range of opportunities to learn and expand your role within the firm. The successful applicant must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be a self-starter, multi-tasker, take initiative and have the ability to interact with all levels of management within the company. This position assists the Leasing Administrator. This position can be a Temp-Hire for the right person. Our client will move fast and are reviewing resumes ASAP! Responsibilities: Assist with administration of commercial leases and related documents; building operations and internal accounting and provide support to Executive and Management staff members. Handle confidential documents and exercise discretion. Manage marketing materials and advertising for available spaces for lease. Provide general administrative support such as editing documents, answering phones, distributing mail, greeting guests, coordinating pick-up and delivery of packages, setting up conference room for meetings and ordering office supplies. Copying, scanning, filing, etc. may require standing for long periods of time. Organizing files and supplies may require use of a ladder. Assist principals with personal matters. Assist with the administration of insurance policies. Potential to assist in preparation of legal agreements and leases.
Requirements: 5+ years experience in a similar firm or experience in Real Estate Department of a Corporation Proficiency with software and technology including Microsoft, Word, Excel (knowledge of formulas and spreadsheet organization for the purpose of tracking events, submissions and billing cycles) and Outlook. Knowledge of basic mathematics is a must. Excellent grammar required for both oral and written communication. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work unsupervised and manage a varied workload.
