Our client in the North of Pittsburgh is in need of a Tax Accountant for a part-time four-to-six month engagement. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of federal and state income tax and real estate tax returns, as well as the calculation of quarterly estimated tax payments and tax provisions. The Tax Accountant will support the Controller by providing research and documentation on federal and state income tax matters. What you will get to do: -Determine tax liability by computing taxes -Complete tax returns for Federal and State returns -Assistant to help in tax return preparation for a commercial real estate company and its partnerships -Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns by collecting , analyzing, and formatting financial information. -Calculates tax payments and estimates -Complies with federal, state and local tax requirements by studying existing regulations -Enforce adherence to requirements -Advise management on needed actions -Filing required financial and related information -Maintain knowledge of tax requirements by studying new tax regulations and directives -Obtaining tax location/region If you are interested in the Tax Accountant opportunity as a Project Manager, please contact Nicole Novak at 412.338.8790 and email your resume to Email blocked - click to apply
