Alluvion is hiring for a Transportation Support Specialist/Analyst located in Fleming Island, FL. This role will go remote after training for now but will eventually go back into the office.

Position Summary
The Support Specialist will have primary focus on data integrity along with other team functions. Mining data from a variety of sources to uncover trends, anomalies, errors, missing milestones, and to make correlations that are not always clear. Data will be interpreted and presented in a variety of forms to provide improved understanding of current and potential new customers, oversight of operations and accounting, opportunities to increase revenue and margins, improve data integrity, timeliness and completeness as well as reduce risk.

This position will require the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Data and reporting must be accompanied with insight and recommendations for improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring and clean-up of data from a variety of exception reports.
  • Identifying areas to improve data integrity, timeliness and completeness, and working on solutions with the appropriate departments/personnel.
  • Provides guidance and support to team members.
  • Providing internal and external reports as required
  • Responsible for verifying and processing new ocean import shipments.
  • Order creation
  • Processing troubled order reports.
  • Troubleshooting rate issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Two or more years' related experience in transportation, logistics, or data analysis is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business or Computer Science is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point
  • Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate.
