A hands-on technology implementer who will ensure that the BTS teams effectively adopts and utilizes state-of-the-art technology to achieve best practices in Continuous Integration (CI), Test Driven Development (TDD), and Continuous Deployment (CD).
The Solution Lead will be responsible for engaging teams to enable full automation of test, deployments, builds, from the unit level to end-to-end across on-prem and cloud offerings. The successful candidate will not only understand the technologies and tools, but understand how to facilitate team transformation to a DevOps delivery model.
As a Solution Lead, it will be important to be able to engage a variety of teams and technologies and lead them in the transformation. While having the knowledge and ability to work hands on is important, the higher goal is to mentor the team to successfully transform to DevOps delivery.
Successful candidates must have a thorough understanding of the company's business operations as well as a broad knowledge of the latest Cloud technologies.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate -
Ability to calmly engage developers, team leads, project managers, testers, architects, operations, security and compliance team members in stressful circumstances, digest their requirements and concerns to lead them towards a better end to end solution.
A track record of successfully implementing and organizing the transformation efforts of product teams for full end to end delivery.
Experience with highly secure product delivery. Preferably with direct experience in Development and Operations.
Agile delivery expertise, ideally experienced with Agile Central (Rally), TFS, Jira, or similar.
Highly valued tools and technologies include Jenkins (CloudBees a plus), TFS/VSTS, GIT, Azure/GCP/AWS, Puppet/Chef/Terraform, Powershell/Bash, Octopus Deploy.
