We are currently seeking experienced Order Fillers at Standard Motor Products, Inc. Engine Management’s Distribution Center.
You will work in a fast-paced distribution facility filling customer orders. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies while meeting performance standards
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
At least two years recent experience as an Order Filler utilizing Voice/RF technology in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
English (reading, writing, and verbal)
Basic reading and writing skills required Mathematical Skills
Basic to Intermediate level to verify quantities of product, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products.
Basic PC or RF/Voice WMS functions Language Skills
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds
Work Environment: Working conditions are normal for a logistics/distribution center/warehouse environment including exposure to changing building temperatures. Work involves lifting up to 70 pounds, operating material handling equipment, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
