As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for preparing and supervising the preparation of calculations and drawings for construction for a variety of miscellaneous structures (including refineries, water-waste, water, and buildings). Also, act as an assistant department manager. In addition to design, the position requires field data gathering, CBC structural observations, driving an auto and walking around construction sites.
- Bachelor degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Masters degree preferred
- At least 15 years design experience in facility or industrial projects, including bridge or transportation
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required, Structural (SE) preferred
- Experience with computer programs such as RISA, STAAD for linear analysis, etc., is required and some knowledge of Auto CADD is desirable.
- Working knowledge of ASCE-7, ACI 318, AISC Construction Manual, and AISC Seismic Design Manual is preferred
- Some knowledge with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification is desirable
- Federal requirements for a portion of the work require a U.S. citizenship
