 Participate as a vital team member and contribute towards the success of the organization, which may involve the provision of other technical and administrative support, as required.  Promote a team approach and maintain dialogue with all employees to exchange information and gather ideas.  Collaborate with any project teams on other special initiatives, as required.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the scheduled, unscheduled and preventative maintenance and repair of a wide variety of mining process equipment including conveyors both rubber belt and pan style systems. We are requiring mechanical skills base to include: hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, conveyor systems and PLC usage.

Skills:
--Effectively complete preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent breakdowns on equipment.
--Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages while collaborating with other departments.
--Acts as the 'first responder' when a line stops producing and assures that the appropriate mechanical help is on site to correct any problems quickly using PLC, electrical and/or mechanical skills.
--Prioritizes work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools and utility systems to minimize production downtime and completes all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation program.
--Utilizes this to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.
--Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
--Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.
--Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
--Analyze test results, machine error messages or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.
--Reviews maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.
--Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.
--Examine objects, systems or facilities and analyze information to determine needed repairs.

Position Requirements

Required Education, Work Experience & Certifications:
Candidates must successfully pass required Skills and Aptitude Assessment in order to be considered.
3+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance is a must!
Mechanical/Industrial Maintenance troubleshooting and repair skills required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Working Condition will be mainly indoors of a large warehouse structure that will follow ambient condition changes during the seasons.  Overtime as required and while most work is inside there will be requirements at times work will be performed in an outdoor setting such as snow removal for the site, working on heavy equipment outdoors which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, cold and frozen conditions. Unless we are in a state of emergency and there is a band on driving you are required to report for work.  Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis. Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is required. Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
