Summary: IT Asset Management Analyst/Specialist - Hardware

Seeking a talented individual who is responsible for IT Asset Management Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Design and execute asset management policies and procedures
* Maintain data quality of IT hardware asset tracking data in Remedy
* Reconcile the CMDB data when exceptions are noted between CMDB, discovery information, and other authoritative production data repositories
* Maintain Standard Operating Procedures related to IT Hardware Asset Management
* Define audit compliance processes and reporting needed, and ensure compliance for the IT assets
* Perform on-site Asset Management audit and communicate analysis
* Communicate Asset Management activities to enhance general awareness of processes and standards
* Assist in continual process improvements around the IT Asset Management processes
* Drive process improvements through collaboration, best practices, and automation

Requirements: Education and/or experience, knowledge, skills & abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

* Knowledge of BMC Remedy software a plus.
* Understanding of ITAM and ITIL Framework
* Experience with application and hardware relationship mapping
* Experience with CMDB technologies and processes
* Good organization skills with ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks concurrently to achieve results
* Strong ability to communicate (oral and written) with multiple levels of organization (internally and externally) effectively and concisely, including technical documentation and training materials
* Able to function and work collaboratively in a team environment
* Adapt well to change
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
* 2-5 years' experience in Information Systems required
* 2-5 years' experience in a hardware asset management focused role required
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
