The Senior Associate Athletic Trainer for Football will work under the medical supervision of the head team physician and is responsible for assisting the Head Football Athletic Trainer with the day-to-day sports medicine/athletic training operations, athlete-centered health care services, and facility coordination for the Jones-Hill House Gossett Athletic Training Facility. Duties include prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student-athlete injuries and illnesses; pre-participation physical organization; maintaining medical records; completing required insurance claims; daily interaction and communication with coaching staff, team physicians, staff athletic trainers, recruits and administration; attending team practices and events; drug testing administration, staff management of assistant athletic trainers and students; and manages injury prevention programming. Assist the Director of Head Football Athletic Trainer with performing other duties as assigned.
