Our client is a growing full-service hotel designed for business travelers with locations in the U.S. and U.K. Senior Manager FR&A

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting and Analysis, the Senior Manager will be responsible for:



  • Work with the Manager to lead the preparation of financial results and other reporting for operating hotels on a monthly basis, adhering to third-party owner contractual deadlines

  • Identification and monitoring of key performance statistics/ratios with analysis on significant variances on a monthly basis

  • Researching and documenting explanations for variances in monthly financial reports

  • Lead the preparation of hotel operations forecasts and cash flow forecasts on a monthly and/or quarterly basis

  • Lead the annual preparation of budgets for hotel, restaurant and club operations, including compiling inputs from senior operations leadership, consolidation/roll-ups, reviews and adjustments, reporting system uploading

  • Work with the Director, Financial Reporting and Analysis to produce debt reporting packages and covenant tests, as applicable

  • Working with Vice President, Hotel Finance and CEO to perform various analyses and special projects, as needed

Requirements:

  • 5 years financial analysis (FP&A) experience; accounting experience a plus

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Thorough understanding of profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash flows

  • Experience in forecast/budget preparation and Excel modeling

  • Ability to work well under pressure, 'own' key processes, and meet deadlines

  • Previous experience and/or familiarity with the hospitality industry a plus, particularly USALI

  • Experience with Sage and Host Analytics (Planful) or similar financial software a plus

  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment

  • BA/BS in Hotel Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or similar concentration; advanced education and/or professional designations a plus
