What You Can Expect
The Oncology Infusion Pharmacy Manager is responsible leading a team of Oncology Infusion Pharmacists and ensuring proper medication preparation and distribution across St
Luke's five Cancer Institutes located in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Fruitland and Magic Valley.
* Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to the oncology infusion pharmacy team
* Serve as clinical mentor and leader to pharmacists in their daily patient care functions
* Develop, coach, mentor, and assess team members' performance
* Provide staffing coverage as needed
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary work teams
* Coordinate strategic goal, project, and program implementation
* Assure compliance of pharmacy services with policy and regulatory agencies
* Develop, monitor and work effectively within established budget
* Lead within organizational structures to improve medication use outcomes through clinical pharmacy services, staffing deployment and technology
* Work closely with hospital leaders to optimize pharmacy services for patient care
Qualifications
* Degree from an accredited pharmacy program
* Three (3) years' experience
* MBA or Pharmacy Residency in lieu of two (2) years' experience
* Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross
