We are seeking a mechanically inclined individual to become a Field Service Technician with our company. We specialize in ongoing maintenance of electronic and mechanical systems in Non-Destructive Testing equipment.
Typical job duties will include:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair non-destructive testing equipment such as X-Ray machines.
- Travel to customer sites and to service equipment.
- Work with electronic and mechanical systems.
- Work with gears, belts, pumps, and controls.
- Troubleshoot electronics to component level and work with light electrical systems.
The person in this role will train for 6-12 months with a senior technician. Most service calls are local and back home each day, but there are some overnights (70% local and 30% overnight). Once trained, this employee will drive a company vehicle to get from location to location.
This will be a day shift opportunity with normal start times of 6:00 or 7:00am. However, each day and project will look a little bit different. Must be open to overtime when needed.
Full benefits package offered. This position has excellent growth potential. This is an entry-level role with all training provided to become a Field Service Technician. Skilled, tenured people in this role make upwards of $30 per hour.
