As we continue to grow, we're seeking a dedicated Brewery Maintenance Technician to join our team and help ensure our equipment and facilities operate at peak performance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a skilled Brewery Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our brewery equipment and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our brewery and requires someone who can troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of brewing equipment and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on brewery equipment, including steam, pumps, conveyors, canning lines, and packaging machinery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement timely solutions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule to prevent equipment failures and optimize performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems as needed.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, preferably in a brewery or food production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

  • Lift 50-60 lbs, must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs throughout shift.
  • Climb ladders up to 20 feet and operate a scissor lift.
  • Safely bend at knees to lift objects and stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Frequently duck under conveyors/equipment.
  • Climb stairs multiple times during a shift.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, the ability to adjust focus and the ability to see color; either with or without accommodation.
  • The ability to work in loud, wet, cold, hot, indoor and outdoor environments frequently.
