The Consumer Experience Communication Consulting Sales Lead is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to generate new revenue growth through value-based singular or multi-product Alight Consumer Experience solutions with a focus on Communication and Decision Support.

The Consumer Experience Communication Consulting Sales Lead is responsible for managing all stages of the Consumer Experience RFP response process - from introductory meetings, scoping, consulting, pricing RFPs, finalist meetings, contracting and ultimately the hand-off to the implementation team. In addition, this role is responsible for staying current on competitor capabilities, trends in the market, compliance developments and Alight capabilities.

The individual must be proactive, knowledgeable, organized, creative, and confident to work with various internal sales teams and external clients to help drive revenue for Consumer Experience through our RFP processes.

Responsibilities

* Drive revenue for Consumer Experience through the sale and creation of communication solutions for health and wealth solutions.
* Write proposal responses, develop client presentations, and create pricing packages to support Consumer Experience solutions, including the management of multiple projects and sales opportunities at any given time.
* Partner with sales executives and solution architects across the organization to solution and sell Consumer Experience projects, examples include, Engagement Solutions, Alight Worklife tiers, Alight Partner Network, decision support tools, and personalized communications.
* Present solutions in client strategy sessions and finalist meetings, or
* Train and prepare leadership, sales executives, and communication colleagues to present communication solutions (engagement solutions) as needed.
* Exhibit expertise in digital, multichannel change management communications, annual enrollment campaigns, targeted and personalized content, financial education, and wellness solutions.
* Showcase multimedia communication campaigns that engage employees and drive behaviors to help clients meet their goals and objectives.
* Enhance team efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness by sharing and leveraging best practices.
* Build strong working relationships with colleagues in strategic services, health and wealth operations, and sales to deliver an integrated solution to our clients.
* Maintain solid understanding of Alight's core businesses and offers.

Product Development

* Provide ongoing input to Consumer Experience Solution and Delivery Teams - insights and feedback from prospects and Third-Party Evaluators to inform priorities and enhancements of Engagement Solutions
* Coordinate with business leaders and product owners on scope items that may require special development or staffing.
* Coordinate with product owners to ensure that latest solution developments are reflected in sales materials

Formal Education & Certification

* Bachelor's degree, preferred
* Communication Consulting Experience
* Benefits administration and sales knowledge

Knowledge and Experience

* 5+ years' experience with Communication consultative sales experience and/or 6 - 8+ years Consumer firm experience required
* Exhibits excellent skills throughout all stages of a consultative selling process, including the agility and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple sales opportunities and RFPs.
* Experience in value-based selling by providing deep insight about how the service will impact the client's business
* Exhibit strong writing skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive and clear responses.
* Ability to negotiate internally and externally on scope, fees, and timing.
* Travel Expectation 10% of the time (sometimes on short notice) to support meetings with clients

Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere in between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $113,800.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $253,700.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be bonus eligible.
