Overview LMI is seeking a skilled Medical Logistics Project Manager at our office in Frederick, Maryland to support our Defense Health Agency (DHA), Medical Logistics Division client. Our client supports DoD's medical readiness mission by enhancing inter-Service medical department cooperation, promoting interoperability, and providing a forum for joint clinical coordination of medical materiel issues. Responsibilities This position directly supports the Program Manager in the following areas: * Provide project management oversight to team members working in the MMESOs for the identification, planning, progress, and updating of all Standardization Projects. * Enterprise level, monitoring of activities at the MMESOs, roll up activities and reports, and communication to the DHA MEDLOG Division or any other entity as instructed by the DHA MEDLOG Division Director. * Management of complex projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocated * Monitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project's development and execution * Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterparts * Prioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign resources to each project * Track cost, schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop project specific policy, procedures and report status to all levels * Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution * Manage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in services delivery * Prepare monthly cost reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy. When appropriate, propose a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustments * Prepare briefing charts, schedule meetings, keep records and record minutes, prepare after-action reports in support of technical reviews * Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities * Anticipate and resolves procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategy * Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities * Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications * Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management or other related technical discipline is required. * Minimum five (5) experience in project management. * Direct experience with Defense medical/healthcare logistics and supply chain management * Strong understanding of medical materiel and equipment standardization and medical treatment environments. * Superior communication skills, both oral and written. * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Ability to pass a US government background investigation; US citizenship required Desired Skills * Prior experience running projects of similar size and scope * PMP Certification or other equivalent certifications #LI-SH1
