Position Summary

The Machine Operator contributes to Cambridge International’s successby manufacturing fabricated parts using manual and CNC equipment.


Responsibilities
  • Sets up and operates production machines and required gauging in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints and diagrams to select, positionand secure machinery.

  • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion
  • Check all work for Quality
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

  • Performs other duties related to the qualifications and requirements of the job.

Experience and Skill Required
  • HighSchool diploma or GED, Vo-Tech or other manufacturing education helpful but notrequired.

  • 1-3 years of experience in field or related area strongly preferred
  • Apprenticeship and/or formal training helpful
  • Musthave a basic understanding of cutting tools and processes. 

  • Strongmechanical aptitude.

  • Abilityto thrive in fast pace environment
