Management Resources, the $1B consulting arm of Robert Half deploying over 4000 consultants world-wide, is hiring experienced Accounting Managers to join the exciting senior/management level consulting practice of Robert Half in the Boston area on a permanent basis. This position will offer consistent salary as well as access to the benefits of a Fortune 500 company. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the corporate accounting department, including the supervision of a team of highly performing Staff and Senior Accountants. The Accounting Manager is responsible for helping establish and maintain adequate internal control systems to ensure conformance with prescribed policies and procedures. The Accounting Manager directly reports to the Controller and works directly with various levels of corporate management. As part of the daily accounting operations, the Accounting Manager will maintain the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets and performs reconciliation on all Balance Sheet accounts. In addition to daily accounting operations, the Accounting Manager is responsible for helping develop management reporting systems which assure timely and accurate reporting of all items that have an impact on the financial performance of the corporation. The Accounting Manager directs the preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification. Manages the relationship with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables departments. Development, analysis, and interpretation of monthly, quarterly, annual and incidental statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability and performance against budget. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for preparing reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. Provides management with timely reports and reviews of the organization's financial status and performance in its various programs and activities. Job Requirements
