-Responsible for planning, directing, and managing all phases of manufacturing process design, implementation of standardization, tooling and equipment implementation, material selection, equipment development, driving cost down with reduction of down time, reduction of process scrap, and improved reliability as a metric to continuously improve.
-Manage risks by identifying cross-project issues on active programs or cost reduction implementation projects and propose solutions.
-Drive production process for manufacturing and equipment procurement including ongoing changes.
-Drive daily KPI’s in each APU.
-Support and lead raise review, robust PFMEA and design for assembly for each APU.
-Manage teams to meet deliverables and drive QRQC.
-Lead FDPR (Full Day Production Run).
-Lead technical support for VIM closure
-Assign goals and objectives for team members, drive and mentor production preparation process.
-Provide engineering support for equipment and manufacturing processes, including but not limited to\: molding, tooling, and assembly.
-Ensure the production of a high quality product in a timely, cost effective manner.
-Assist and advise on the solutions for manufacturing problems as they may occur.
-Lead/coordinate activities using team interaction to accomplish program applications.
-Drive the standard of equipment and fixtures with a continuous improvement mentality meeting the new technology requirements.
-Drive and support productivities (-30 plan and D150).
-Work with other disciplines within the company to match and update requirements so the business leads in the market.
-Train, support, and manage all Methods/Process and Controls engineers to meet team deliverables.
Lets talk about you...
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
-Minimum of 8 years engineering manufacturing experience.
-Assembly equipment and fixtures, design experience and the debugging of it for production,
understanding of GD&T and part design.
-Minimum of 3 years supervision/management experience.
-Strong written and oral communication skills.
-Demonstrated leadership skills in a team oriented setting.
