Strategic Projects Financial Analyst

A large Kforce client in the Lehigh Valley of Allentown, PA is looking to bring on a Financial Analyst focusing on strategic projects. The client is offering relocation assistance with the role. They are targeting candidates with experience in large capital investment experience. Principal Accountabilities:
  • Create discounted cash flow and other valuation models often involving joint ventures, acquisitions, varied business models, multiple currencies, unique tax and accounting treatments, and financing structures
  • Liaise with and coordinate the activities of internal accounting, tax, business development, engineering, marketing, M&A, and other experts needed to evaluate projects
  • Support commercial teams in developing contracts to achieve investment economics
  • Build and maintain relationships as needed with external partners, project finance experts, lenders, consultants, etc.
  • Help coach and develop financial analysis personnel across the company on analytical methods and deal evaluation approaches
  • Support the continued development of Air Products' capital forecasting and financing planning activities, including the impact to Air Products' credit rating
  • Support the sustainment and development of Air Products' analytical policies and practices
  • Prepare and present facts and analysis in a manner that focuses the decisionmakers


  • B.S. / B.A. degree required
  • MBA Preferred; Degree from a top university in a business-related, analytical discipline (e.g. finance, economics, etc.)
  • Significant, demonstrable, hands on experience leading complex discounted cash flow project analysis. Excellent analytical skills are a must
  • Demonstrated financial acumen (financial metrics, ratios and calculations, financial statement review, etc) and project management skills (planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work unique hours depending on global project needs
  • Ability and enthusiasm to self-educate by engaging across multiple functions and geographies
  • Flexibility for some travel (less than 10% of time in a year)
