World Wide Industrial, a division of Snap-on Incorporated, has an opening in for an outside sales professional covering military and defense accounts in the industrial market. Primary accounts are established in Mississippi, Florida and Alabama. The ideal candidate will reside within 100 miles of Biloxi, Mississippi.

An essential point of contact, this position establishes, develops and maintains professional relationships while selling in the industrial tool market. This position provides superior customer service and maintains contact and professional relationships with key accounts such as major military installations and other key industrial customers within the territory.

An Associate’s or Bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a strong work ethic, and prior knowledge of the industrial marketplace. Outside selling experience, preferably serving the MRO supply market is a plus. Familiarity with features and benefits of professional tools is strongly desired. A proven track record of prior goal achievement showing solid increases in sales and in customer growth is required. Past military experience is desired. Must hold and maintain all required credentials for assigned customer accounts.

The position requires solid organizational, customer service, and presentation skills and effective communication skills for various levels within an organization. The ability to convey enthusiasm along with product knowledge to “close the sale” is required. This candidate must enjoy working independently and be self motivated.

The ideal candidate will have basic spreadsheet skills, the ability to use databases, and will be PC proficient in Microsoft office suite products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.

A valid driver’s license, with an impeccable driving history, the ability to obtain adequate insurance coverage, and a reliable personal vehicle are required.

Snap-on offers a competitive compensation package, which includes a base expense, commissions, plus sales bonus opportunity. In addition, Snap-on offers a complete benefits package.
