Position Overview & Responsibilities

Our Hospitality Client is looking for a qualified individual to join their culinary team and lead their bread Bakers as Artisan Bread Baker. This individual should be passionate about their craft with the ability to be creative in a fast-paced environment. This position is part of the Pastry team and will have the capacity to cross train. The Artisan Baker will lead the bakery in the production of high quality artisan bread utilizing starters, low leaven and long fermenting, and high-quality Flours & Grains. This is a multi-functional, high-volume operation serving both Ala Carte, Banquets, and has the ability to offer products for retail sales as well.

Position Requirements

 
  • Minimum of three years in a hotel, restaurant, or other comparable entity bakery
  • At least one year in a lead role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree from accredited university preferred
