A new opportunity is now available for an experienced Forklift Technician in Brooklyn, NY.  This role will be diagnosing and repairing Forklifts and other Material Handling equipment including lift trucks, Aerial Equipment, pallet jacks, counter balance and other small industrial equipment.

The ideal technician will have previous experience working on electric, propane and diesel-powered units.  Those with strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, alternative fuels, internal combustion and AC drive systems will be given preference.

The successful Technician will primarily be working out of a well-equipped service truck, covering Brooklyn & Long Island area, should have a valid driver’s license with a fairly clean driving record, and have their own tools.  This opportunity is with an employer that can offer a long term, stable career with growth potential.

Compensation:  $30.00 – $35.00/hour. Wage range varies based on experience. Benefits are offered after 60 days of employment including Dental, 401K, Life, AD&D, and STD. Vacation time increases as you grow with the company from 1 week per year up to 3 weeks per year.

Shift:  Days, 7:30am - 4:00pm (Monday - Friday). OT paid after 40 hours per-week.
