• Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland
• Security Clearance: Active Clearance or Eligible to Obtain - U.S
citizenship required
• Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 Depending on Experience and Education
• Travel: 5%

Position Summary SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking a Materials and Manufacturing Researcher to support our Aberdeen Research Operation
You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Specializing in basic and applied materials research especially in the area of polymers research, to develop manufacturing science technologies for weapon systems and Soldier equipment.
• Conduct armor materials research for protection systems, to include manned and unmanned systems as well as Soldier protection systems.
• Conduct materials and concepts research for advanced weapon systems.
• Conduct materials and processing research at small and high deformation rates/scales.
• Conduct multi-scale advanced materials modeling.
• Recommend courses of action for internal and external Government research collaborations.
• Coordinate, prepare, and maintain supplies, materials, and equipment for use at laboratories.
• Present research projects at technical meetings and conferences.
• Prepare presentations and written documents summarizing efforts Minimum Qualifications of Materials and Manufacturing Researcher Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences Concentration and 5+ years of relevant experience

• Experience working in a research environment (educational experience allowable)
• Experience in writing proposals, reports, technical program summaries, PowerPoint presentations, and journal publications.
• SECRET Security Clearance
