System Safety Engineer with Security Clearance

immediate opening for a System Safety Engineer to provide safety analysis and processes for various weapon programs. As a System Safety Engineer you will use your expertise to ensure that safety is crafted into hardware and software products and that controls are incorporated and remain effective while assuring compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience developing and interpreting system safety / flow-down requirements.
• Experience performing Safety Hazard analyses.
• Possess strong Computer Skills and Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products.
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Previous experience with military products.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
Desired Skills:
• Secret clearance • System Safety Program Plan Development and execution of MIL-STD-882E activities.
• Software Safety analysis per AOP-52 and JSSSEH
• Aerospace and Air Force safety experience
• Experience working with AFSPCMAN 91-710
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
