Job Details

The Insurance Producer is responsible for identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients to provide tailored insurance solutions. This role focuses on growing the client base through strategic prospecting, networking, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Insurance Producer works to understand clients’ unique needs and offers appropriate coverage options to protect their personal or business interests.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Development

Prospect for new clients through referrals, networking events, cold calling, and online research.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their insurance needs.
Educate clients about policy options, coverage limits, and potential risks.
Sales & Business Growth

Achieve sales targets by offering a variety of insurance products such as auto, home, commercial, life, and health.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and quotes tailored to client needs.
Cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Policy Management

Assist clients in the application and underwriting processes to ensure timely issuance of policies.
Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations as needed.
Provide guidance and support during claims processing to ensure a seamless client experience.
Compliance & Documentation

Ensure all transactions and communications adhere to regulatory and company standards.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system.
Market Awareness

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and product changes.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to understand product offerings and pricing.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Valid state insurance license(s) (e.g., Property & Casualty, Life & Health).
Proven experience in insurance sales or a related field.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Proficiency in agency management systems and CRM tools.
