Are you a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a passion for seeking justice and a desire to build a rewarding career in the legal industry? We are seeking an experienced Permanent Litigation Attorney with a focus on General Liability to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes cases in a variety of sectors including healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities that require a high level of legal acumen, strategic thinking, and a commitment to client service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in complex litigation matters, managing cases from inception to conclusion.
2. Developing and implementing litigation strategies, conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions and briefs, conducting legal research, and appearing in court.
3. Analyzing legal issues related to general liability, healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions.
4. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
5. Building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing strategic legal advice.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in general liability and related fields.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this exciting role, you must meet the following requirements:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney with a focus on general liability.
3. Experience in healthcare, specialty care, senior living, sexual abuse, mass torts, and class actions is required.
4. Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
7. Ability to handle a high caseload and work under pressure.
8. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
10. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
