Sous Chef

Our Taproom is searching for a ceative and motivated sous chef to join out talented kitchen team. In this positon, you will act as the second in command on our kitchen, following and enforcing our chef's requirement and guidelines.

Your duties will include responding to customer issues and developing new menu options. You should have excellent coomunication skills with in-depth knowledge of serveral cooking methods, ingrediants, equipment and processes.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes

- Provide support to junior kitchen employee with various tasks including line cooking, food preparation and dish plating.

- Oversee the daily operation of food service staff

- Monitor quality of products and services produced

- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies

- Maintain health standards for raw and finished products

- Control labor & food cost

- Problem Solving

- Menu Execution

**Qualifications:**

- Previous Sous Chef experience in food service or other related fields

- Knowledge of common food safety practices

- Strong leadership qualities and teamwork oriented

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent written and communication skills

- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practice.
