Job Responsibilities
• Conducts advanced data analysis and algorithm design.
• Involves in designing experiments, testing hypotheses, and building models.
• Ensures Statistical and predictive modeling techniques are applied to create, maintain, and enhance multiple real-time decision systems.
• Conduct ETL design, development, and maintenance including data extraction, manipulation, analysis, source-target mapping, change data capture..etc.
• Involves in modeling and framing business scenarios that have a meaningful impact on important business processes and/or decisions.
• Collaborates with all the teams necessary to support data collection, integration, and retention requirements based on input from the business.
• Involves in performing data sampling and aggregation, fuzzy encoding, and employing a wide array of machine learning models, such as various regression and clustering techniques, ensemble techniques like random forests and XGBoost, and time-series analysis.
• Develops different experimental design methods to validate findings or test hypotheses, and ensures the appropriate algorithm is selected to discover patterns.
• Performs real-world testing of machine learning (ML) models and cross-validation, and continuously monitors the execution and health of models in the production environment.
Requirements and skills
• Bachelor's or master's degree in mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science or related field required;
• 3+ years' experience with running ML/statistical models and advanced analytics with a proven record for delivering production predictive models to drive strategic decision-making.
• 5+years' experience with advanced SQL concepts and writing SQL statements (Oracle, MySQL Server or similar).
• Experience in ML (Machine Learning)/statistical models and advanced analytics.
• Write code in different scripting languages such as SQL, Python, etc., to transform raw data and make it usable by cleaning it.
• Utilize different statistical and visualization tools including Excel, R, Python, MATLAB, and SAS programming language. Have a strong practical knowledge of machine learning algorithms.
• Experience performing statistical analysis and applying visualization techniques
• Possess an inquisitive nature and a desire to comprehend the intricacies of a business process thoroughly.
• Experience in building data pipeline monitoring and alerting tools to provide real-time visibility about scalability and performance metrics.
• Experience in mentoring other team members in development of best practices, and methodologies.
