The Director of Acquisitions and Divestitures (A&D) will lead E&PS value delivery for global Johnson & Johnson acquisitions and divestitures. This includes creating an end-to-end E&PS acquisitions and divestitures model and leading its deployment on each deal. Key to these responsibilities will be to build the framework, process, and tools/templates, and lead value delivery via establishing key partnerships across Real Estate, Project Management, Engineering & Design, and Facilities Management in all regions.
This individual will also provide A&D leadership, guidance, and council to the Supply Chain (SC) integration teams, assist in the implementation and management of various Integration Management Offices (IMO), and be responsible for tracking and reporting progress on value delivery, risk, and cost identified within each deal. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining the playbooks up to date based on lessons learned and best practices identified.
Leads the creation of the E&PS A&D Model: Framework, Processes, and Tools/templates for Acquisitions and Divestitures activities across all E&PS functions.
Serve as a single point of contact for A&D deal teams for all A&D deals, globally. This will include establishing key partnerships across E&PS, in the business, and in the deal teams to deliver against this objective.
Lead deal modelling, due diligence, integration planning and execution for E&PS. Delivery of integration plans will occur within regions under this positions direction.
Lead Integration or Separation Score Cards and maintain monthly performance reporting on behalf of the team to E&PS and A&D leaders. Identify Priorities, Progress and Risks associated with Value Creators, Risk Mitigations and End State Operating Model for Integrations and Separations.
Conduct Lessons learned and identify best practices based on each deal worked on and participated in. Maintain Supply Chain Playbook and tools with latest thinking and templates.
Participate on other stages of Business Development opportunities as required by various A&D leads.
Participate on Enterprise A&D initiatives as needed to advance the Enterprise's capabilities for A&D Execution.
Undergraduate degree in engineering, business, finance or supply chain disciplines.
Graduate degree/studies in related discipline/ MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years global leadership experience, leading cross functional teams in a global, inclusive environment is required.
Minimum of 10 years of operations experience that demonstrate an integrated, global portfolio that may include (but not exclusive) in health care, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, medical device. Multi-sector, company experience is required.
Demonstrated End-to-End experience through prior responsibilities in 2 or 3 disciplines of Plan/Build/Run functions is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of project management experience with up and down influencing without direct line reporting is preferred.
Prior experience in working with acquisitions and divestures within the company is preferred.
Experience within strategy development and project management across the organization, with measurable, financial, quality and cycle time results is preferred.
Strong experience of creating strong relationships across multiple functions and businesses is preferred.
Ability to managing complexity within a matrix management is required.
