Graphic Designer

The Garrett Companies Denver, CO (Onsite) Full-Time
CB Est Salary: $65K - $120K/Year

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating and developing communication initiatives across all The Garrett Companies brands and entities. This person must ensure all visual design is on brand and effectively communicates with intended audiences. This person must continuously monitor marketing trends and keep a close eye on current design communication options that are being utilized by peers as well as other progressive companies. This position will regularly meet with the Marketing team as well as other departments. In addition, this person will work with third party contractors and vendors.

The Graphic Designer will serve in a production artist role, developing, implementing, and executing select communications initiatives and activities for the Garrett Companies. These initiatives and activities include print and digital communications, signage, social media content and ads, as well as other related items and projects.

This position will also have the responsibility of ensuring cohesive design and brand choices across all graphic elements for Garrett Management 2.0.



Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Produce internal and external digital and print communications.
  • Provide design assistance to Digital Marketing Manager to keep select company website up to date.
  • Organize and administrate graphics and images – including working with outside vendors to acquire and manage.
  • Work with Marketing, Asset Management, and Design teams to create and guide corporate and site signage packages.
  • Miscellaneous design and production tasks on an as needed basis.
  • Create social graphics and content for all brands.


Prerequisites:

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or similar field (higher education)
  • Must be consistently detail oriented.
  • Dynamic team player potential without oversized ego.
  • Ability to recognize personal shortcomings.
  • A desire to continue improving written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to listen and understand intents and goals.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience working with customer services, internal teams, and 3rd party consultants.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites, Canva, Microsoft Office, and design tools that will enable efficient and excellent work.
  • Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.
