Now Hiring Hotel Maintenance HVAC Technician

The Maintenance HVAC Technician is primarily responsible for performing a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment specifically in plumbing & HVAC. S/He will promote a safe working environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. The General Maintenance will work with managers, inspectors and department heads to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.

The pay range for this position is $20 - $24/hr.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

• Ability to troubleshoot and fix HVAC and/or Plumbing issues
• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
• Perform general repairs in maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to: carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, and finish work.
• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facilities including guest rooms, public areas, etc.
• Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years hands-on experience working on electrical, painting, plumbing, A/C, refrigeration repairs
• Vast knowledge of repairing/replacing plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, refrigeration and kitchen equipment
• Hotel Experience preferred 
• Exceptional guest-focus
• Fluency in other languages beneficial

Key Role Responsibilities:
As a maintenance tech on our engineering team you are responsible for keeping all equipment in good working order with routine repairs and preventative maintenance checks.
You will assist others on the team including the Chief Engineer on building and grounds maintenance
Provide a safe environment for our guests and the hotel staff by meeting all safety standards
Provide professional courteous service to our guests and be accommodating to various requests
Be a team player and assist in other departments when help is needed
Must be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and aware of all Job Safety Analysis guides
